Our Zama pant in Brown is the undisputed all-rounder trouser. They're pretty laid back and are a staple pant for any occasion. Made from some super comfy organic cotton twill with an elasticated waist to give 'em a bit of stretch post meal, with some extra legroom for those long walks beforehand.

I bought the zuma pants and the plastic it was wrapped into, smelled bad. So the pants and the shirt i bought really smelled like cheap china-product - so i had to wash them (by hand, as instucted) and now the water resistant surface is gone. What now? Do i have to reproof them, before wearing outside?
Sorry, but thats way too much work for a expensive, high-quality product.

We believe this may have been an issue caused by the water resistant proofing rather than the packaging. It is a common issue with waxed products which comes off with a bit of use. Washing them is a quick way to get rid of the smell however this does wear off the water resistance quicker.

Great design, but be aware of sizing

I picked up 2 Hybrid Aero Zama Pant, one and green and other in black. Both were size L. The design of the trousers is great. I love how versatile they are. However sizing has been a bit of an issue. Whilst both label show a size L, the black trouser is noticeably larger in size than the green. The length of the trouser is around an inch larger and generally wider. Also be aware that the trousers do shrink after a wash, even when washed with cold water.

Good pants, fits well, I bought medium at first and it was too small for me, but I sent it back and got a large one pretty quickly.

Great fitting trousers

The relaxed fit of these is exactly what I wanted, and the ability to change the width of the opening at the ankle is great. I’m 191cm, and would love it if there was a bit more length, but I get why there isn’t.
I just think they are potentially expensive for quite rudimentary trousers; I’ve found that they pick up fluff, hair and dirt really easily, crease easily, and I don’t love the waistband tighter - I have trousers with an affixed pull-through belt, and it looks much smarter. I’ve also found the pockets to be too small for my hands. With all that said, they’re lovely, consciously-made trousers by people earning a fair wage. That’s worth paying for.

In regards to your comment on the price, we appreciate why you may think that they are exspensive for a simple design. However our commitment to manufacturing in the UK, whilst paying our staff a Real Living Wage, whilst also providing our products in a high quality material, means that our manufacturing costs are higher than most brands. So whilst you may not agree with the price, at least you know that everyone who worked on your product is being compensated fairly.
