Great but a little bit too tight. If the elastic band was a little bit longer, that would be cool.
I ordered the green zama pants , the fit and size guide were sufficient. However I had some issues with the quality of materials . The pull cord slider is too weak and does not hold the strength of the cord . If I pull tight it just slides loose. The material is also lighter than I would have expected , unfortunately the first day wearing the pants my pocket opening even ripped , not at a seam but at a stress point in the fabric . I was really hopeful about this company and what you are doing and wanted to also buy a black pair , but I’m not sure the quality is up to par to do so .
Sorry to hear this. If you get in touch with our team via email, we can get that repaired for you free of charge.
With regards to the slider, it might be that it's faulty but we can also fix that :)
The fabric is designed to be that weight and is a very premium fabric. We also do a heavier pair in a cotton twill and cord pairs which are thicker.
I think the sizing is a bit off. I got the size L which I thought would be loose fit from the instructions. It fits me alright, but the elastic band on the waits is really tight. So the pants are not that comfortable. Like you could have it more loose if you are using a waist band anyway. It does not have that loose fit vibe and I can't style it baggy, since the unisex fit means that you need to have narrow waist(?). But then there's extra room for my non-existent booty. :)
Hi there, sizing is obviously very subjective and incredibly difficult to get completely right for every body type. We do offer custom sizing if need be :)
I like the pants, they are perfect for spring/summer especially in Germany for the rainy season coming ahead. But I unfortunately had to pay taxes / zoll so a little expensive all in all. But love to support a small business like that. 100% recommend them if you don’t have to pay taxes like me
I was excited about these trousers and the waxed material that in the Instagram advert has water poured over which clearly repels.
Unfortunately the actual product material does not feel as waxed as I was expecting it to be. The team explained the difference between water resistant and water proofed which I understand now.
I just feel like my expectations were set up completely wrongly and especially for a brand that prides itself to be sustainable etc the advertisements should be transparent also.
The team sent me a waterproofing spray free of charge which arrived a few weeks after the complaint. But For what they are I feel sadly they are overpriced.
Hi Tess, we're sorry you feel that the water resistance didn't live up to your expectations. However, the product in the instagram post would be identical to the one you received.
We've now added a FAQ and a product details section which hopefully makes the difference between water resistant and water proof clearer.
